CONCEPTUAL
DESIGN & PLANNING

  • Review of architectural drawings

  • Articulating a reflected ceiling plan and electrical layouts, including a schedule of both architectural and decorative lighting

DESIGN DEVELOPMENT & MATERIAL SOURCING

  • The custom design phase includes detailed millwork plans with elevations of each area, all material, appliance, lighting, plumbing fixture and hardware selections

 

  • Detailing of all subsidiary millwork designs, including hardware and integrated lighting

 

  • Sourcing of upholstery material and furniture, wall coverings, area rugs, case goods, soft furnishings, window treatment and decorative hardware

 

  • Creation of custom furniture designs with material specifications

 

  • Selecting paint colours and specialty finishes

PROJECT MANAGEMENT & PROCUREMENT

  • Confirming pricing, lead times and vendor-specific details with suppliers, and project budgeting + forecasting

 

  • Liaising with architects, builders, contractors and specialized trades on project particulars to ensure exceptional execution

  • Site visits, oversight of installations, issue resolution, detailed specifications and schedules for materials and fixtures
     

  • Scheduling and logistical support for any materials sourced and supplied by Four Blocks South
     

  • Consistent client and team communication

INSTALLATION &
HAND-OFF

  • Coordination and supervision of deliveries and set-up of materials supplied by Four Blocks South

 

  • Styling including placement of both proposed new and owner’s existing decorative items

 

  • Art procurement and installation 

 

  • Supervision and coordination of any deficiency resolution post client possession

 

  • Client hand off with project summary and maintenance resources provided
