Clean Lines, Warm Details Modern Renovation

This Toronto home renovation transformed an inefficient main floor into a tailored, functional floor plan for a young family. Four Blocks South reconfigured the interior layout, designed the custom millwork and selected furnishings throughout the main floor, primary bedroom and basement.

An unused formal dining room became a dedicated home office at the front of the house. Relocating the powder room created space for a generous eat-in kitchen, while its new entrance was concealed behind a hidden door integrated into the wall mouldings. Widening the opening from the kitchen to the family room improved circulation and created a stronger connection to the backyard. A custom wraparound banquette provides generous everyday seating around an expandable table that can accommodate larger family gatherings.
