Joyful Lytton Park Family Home Renovation

This full-home renovation in Toronto’s Lytton Park neighbourhood transformed an outdated interior into a colourful and relaxed family home. Four Blocks South reimagined the interior layouts, designed the custom millwork and selected furnishings throughout, balancing the character of the original house with the needs of a busy family.

The bright new kitchen includes a generous dining nook and two comfortable chairs that create an inviting spot for coffee and conversation. A formerly dark office became a cheerful collaborative workspace where adults and children can work on homework, creative projects and everyday tasks together.

In the living room, a wood-clad vaulted ceiling brings warmth and character, while a hanging chair adds an unexpected sense of play. Patterned tile, colourful artwork and relaxed furnishings create a breezy, California-inspired feeling throughout the home. In the primary bathroom, a botanical wall mural surrounds the freestanding tub, transforming the room into an imaginative garden-like retreat.

The completed home feels personal, whimsical and joyful, with practical spaces designed for every member of the family.
