Joyful Lytton Park Family Home Renovation

This full-home renovation in Toronto’s Lytton Park neighbourhood transformed an outdated interior into a colourful and relaxed family home. Four Blocks South reimagined the interior layouts, designed the custom millwork and furnishings throughout, balancing the character of the original house with the needs of a busy family. Patterned tile, colourful artwork and relaxed furnishings create a breezy, California-inspired feeling throughout the home.

The bright new kitchen includes a generous dining nook and two comfortable chairs that create an inviting spot for coffee and conversation. A formerly dark office became a cheerful collaborative workspace where adults and children can work on homework, creative projects and everyday tasks together. In the living room, a wood-clad vaulted ceiling brings warmth and character, while a hanging chair adds an unexpected sense of play.
