Sherwood Park Family Home

Backing onto a lush Toronto park, this narrow Sherwood Park house was transformed through a full renovation, including a rear addition and new third storey. Four Blocks South provided full-service interior design from concept through completion, from advising on interior layouts to selecting all interior finishes.

To make every inch work harder for a young family, full-height kitchen millwork and a library ladder maximize storage, while a built-in banquette creates a generous dining area without requiring a separate formal dining room. At the entry, a custom slatted screen provides privacy and definition while allowing light to pass through. The colours of the Canadian Shield inspired the palette of natural marble, warm materials and natural accents. Every detail was meticulously thought through – including the custom designed Primary bedroom nightstands, that were designed to discreetly accommodate our client's CPAP machine.
